Shipping & Refund Policy

Shipping - Domestic Orders: Estimated Shipping time is indicated on Product Listing page and is the time taken for Carbiz and/or its Merchant Partners, pack and ship your order from the warehouse upon receipt of of payments. In some cases like payment by Cheque, we process the order, only upon confirmation of receipt payment by our Bank. Please note that we shall not be responsible for any delays in approval and/or receipt of payment as that is managed by the Payment Gateway and the Bank.

For example for a Product where it is mentioned that it "Ships in 3-5 business days" would shipped within 3-5 working days from the receipt of your order and confirmation of payments. The delivery time is in addition to this.

Total Delivery time = Time taken for approval of your payment by Bank + Estimated Packing and Forwarding Time + Time in transit

Total Delivery time depends upon your delivery location and courier services available for the respective places as well. The choice of shipping (courier, speed post) may also contribute to the delivery time. We however make every effort to get Products delivered to your doorstep as soon as possible.

Residents of following states must provide below mentioned forms and courier them to the following address prior to processing of order:

a. Uttar Pradesh: Form 32 needs to be provided by the customer for any purchases above Rs.1000

b. West Bengal: Form 42 needs to be provided by the customer for any purchases above Rs.1000

Delivery time for Custom Orders: Delivery time for Custom Orders including but not limited to specific colour preferences etc is usually between 2-3 weeks. Please note however, that this may get longer - depending on the availability of the custom product. Carbiz will not be responsible for any delay in delivery. You are requested to kindly consult with us before hand and we shall keep you notified on the developments.

Shipping - International Orders: Please note that we are a domestic website and do not service international orders.

Refund Policy - Product not in stock: We will refund full payment to you if you have paid for Products that are listed as available on the Website but which have gone out of stock. In these cases, our Customer Service Team will send an e-mail to you, and on obtaining your consent initiate the refund process. There may be situations where a you have ordered several products, and one or more of those products are not in stock. In such cases, you will be refunded the cost of such products as are not available. Please note that we shall not be responsible for any delays in credit to the Cardholder's credit/debit card account as that is managed by the Cardholder's issuing bank.

Refund Policy - Damaged Product: Kindly make sure that you thoroughly inspect the item condition before accepting the item from Courier company or the person delivering the products and only accept the same and sign the receipt thereafter. In case of any signs of pilferage or tampering or the product packaging in damaged condition etc then, please do not accept the package. It is incumbent upon you, the customer to bring the damage to the notice of the courier at the time of delivery. Please also note that the replacement in case of a damaged product is dependent on the damage report submitted by the courier company and the nature of damage. So, please check the product at the time of delivery, and if dissatisfied make an immediate complaint to both the delivery person as well as our Customer Service helpdesk so that necessary steps may be taken.

Please note that your accepting a product delivery confirms that you accept that the products were delivered to you in good condition and in such an instance, no refund request will be entertained and no refund will be provided.

Please note that Products are listed on our platform by various Merchants and they may or may not offer warranty on the product sold as given in the detailed Product listing page. Any product/warranty related issues may be taken up directly with the Merchant concerned.

Refund Policy - Order Cancellation: You can cancel an order within 24 hours from the receipt of the payment and no charges will be deducted and you will get a full refund.

If you would like to cancel an order after the above mentioned 24 hours then Processing charges for refund will apply as applicable.

If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, we would have incurred Courier and packing charges as well and you will need to Courier the Product to the address given below and inform us of the same through a ticket on our Customer Service Help Desk to ensure the safety of the product while returning.

We shall within 2 days of receiving your shipment in good condition, arrange for a refund of your original order cost after deducting the Processing Charges, Packaging and Shipping expenses. Please note that you have to ensure that the Product comes back to us in its original packing unopened to avail of the cancellation refund.
